Kiara Piura (where she was rescued) usually referred to as Kiara 2 (the second Kiara we rescued in Peru!) had surgery on Christmas Eve.

Sasha has returned to the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary after a series of tests by Dr Peter Caldwell, and examination by an ophthalmologist at Old Chapel Veterinary Clinic. The tests revealed retinal degeneration resulting in night blindness, very limited vision and no peripheral vision.

Goliath has just had two root canals performed by Prof. Gerhard Steenkamp today, was examined by Dr Peter Caldwell and is heading home to the Sanctuary.

During today’s veterinary checks Dr Peter Caldwell sedated our sanctuary matriarch Kiara Cusco (a grand old lady of 17 years) for a thorough health assessment.

Dr Peter Caldwell is at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary today, doing health checks on the residents, giving vaccinations, and took the opportunity to give Kesari a thorough examination.
