Bedtime with BenTzur and Ori

BenTzur enjoys a great big yawn followed by Ori as they settle down for the night in their house at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary, South Africa.

It’s just over three weeks since the boys, rescued from the illegal wildlife trade in Israel, arrived at the sanctuary.

They arrived in the last month of the cold South African winter month from a very hot summer in Israel so have been spending the nights in their house with its heated floor.

We have been delighted how quickly they slipped into the routine, exploring their habitat by day then coming in for supper and settling in for the night.

Now, as winter comes to an end, BenTzur and Ori will soon have the choice of their house or sleeping out under the African stars and perhaps even joining in with the roaring chorus at sunrise.
