Urgent call to give five young lions a future

Will you help us give five young lions, victims of the illegal pet trade in Kuwait, a new life at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary?

The lions were either seized, captured after being dumped, or voluntarily surrendered, and are now in custody at the closed Kuwait Zoo. We are thankful to the staff and volunteers who have been caring for them until a home could be found. They heard how ADI had rescued Ruben from another closed zoo and asked for our help.

We are the only chance these lions have for something approaching the natural life they lost in their native land.

Will you help us bring 10-month-old Saif (male), Dhubiya (female), 18-month-old Saham (male), Shujaa (male), and 4-year-old Muheeb to the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary and give them the best possible life for many years to come?

We are currently looking at options for flights and for travel crates but urgently need your help to raise the funds towards caring for these animals for life.

We also hope to be rescuing two lions from a circus in France later this year, following the animal circus ban in France.

We receive a huge number of requests to rescue animals and have the space at ADIWS to take more. But we cannot stress how important it is that we raise enough funds to move the animals to their forever home, build their habitats and care for them for life.

You helped us transform the life of lonely lion Ruben from Armenia – let’s do the same for these lions.

Can you give something today to help give Saif, Dhubiya, Saham, Shujaa, and Muheeb a future too? Please donate here.
