The ADI Wildlife Sanctuary is most commonly known as a refuge for ex-circus lions and tigers. But it is also home to many other species of animals, including goats and sheep who have been rescued from different abuses.
At ADIWS, they are free to roam, graze and play together. It’s quite a sight watching the gang, led by Matilda the cow, all walking together up to the top of the Sanctuary and, especially, coming back when they all start to skip and run as they get close to the habitat where they currently live at night. This captured moment shows the gang enjoying a watermelon treat, provided by the ADIWS team. Thanks to the kindness of our supporters, we have been able to build them a new paddock and hope to move them in soon.
