It’s over 12 years since we rescued Mahla from a circus cage when she was less than a year old and she is as playful and enthusiastic as ever for any treats and surprises at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary.

Something new in the neighbourhood? Her brother Scarc, rescued at the same time, takes a slower more nonchalant approach but Mahla is off like a rocket, checking out some Halloween boxes. Which do you think she’ll decide to carry off?
