At the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary, we rescue animals big and small. Our residents enjoy lifelong care and protection, including birds like peacocks, chickens, guinea fowl, geese, owls, springboks and other antelope, rescued cows, donkeys, goats, pigs, and more.

All too often these ‘farm’ animal species are treated as commodities, deemed only as valuable as the food product they are turned into. No consideration for their lives, feelings, or individuality. We believe ALL animals are sentient and should be treated with compassion.

We are thrilled that we’re able to expand our capacity to rescue and help more species with the construction of our new Non-Predator Reception Area. Thank you to everyone who supported this important project – it’s not quite finished yet, but it is critical for continuing our work for these animals!
