Although she is the tiniest among her sisters (the ‘Spice Girls’), she is the most spirited, and always gets her sisters Luna, Moon and Sun playing. If you watched Sunday’s live from the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary and wondered who that was hurtling around in the background at times… That was Jade.
When ADI first saw Jade in Guatemala she was sharing a circus cage no bigger than a Queen size bed with her sister Luna. It was completely bare with nothing to interest these young, lively and inquisitive tigers. She had lost her tail and poor nutrition had left her with an unnatural goose-stepping gait. She still has that unusual walk but now she has space to run and play and that’s exactly what she does! Help Jade and her sisters continue to thrive.
