Curious cat

Beautiful Luna is one of the boisterous and playful tiger sisters (or ‘Spice Girls’) we rescued from a circus in Guatemala. Once confined to a tiny cage, Luna now has plenty of space to roam or run around in with her sisters at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary.

Both Luna and sister Jade have a malformed skull and spine connection which pinches the spinal nerve, causing them to walk with a ‘goose step’ gait. This was caused primarily by malnutrition and lack of vitamins early in life. Ruben the lion has similar problems which have impacted him more severely. The younger Spice Girls, Sun and Moon, who were rescued as very young cubs from the same circus and fed a healthy diet by ADI do not have these problems – and have grown bigger than Luna and Jade. Like Ruben, Luna and Jade are given medications or supplements for the problem. Please keep supporting Luna and our other circus survivors.

Ahead of Easter, you can adopt Luna to help support her care. It makes a great Easter gift, too, but none greater than for Luna. Adopt Luna US $ | UK £
