Come rain or shine, heat or cold, our dedicated ADI Wildlife Sanctuary team are always there to tend to our rescued animals’ needs. They give our residents their food and medications, create the fun enrichment you see them enjoy, fight fires to keep them (and the community) safe, and more.
When we share images and videos of our big cats looking peaceful, happy, and content, it’s a testament to the hard work of our team. And we hope, with your help, we can now say ‘thank you’ for all they do.

Most of our Sanctuary staff live on site seven days a week, so they can be there when the animals need them. They have been living in an old farmhouse while the focus has been on the animals’ habitats and infrastructure. They know that protecting and caring for the animals comes first and waited patiently.

Today is GivingTuesday and on this global day of giving we hope you can help give our caring team a home away from home at the Sanctuary. A place where they can rest and take care of themselves.
The Staff Village will be the beating heart of the Sanctuary, surrounded by lion and tiger habitats. It will provide ten private rooms (each with a shower and toilet), a common room, kitchen, and laundry.

The construction is nearing completion. The next phase is fitting it out – and now we need your help, to get us to the finish line!
We need to raise $45,400 to complete the project. Our Giving Tuesday Fundraiser has been kick-started with a $5,000 matching grant which will become $10,000 – nearly a quarter of the way there!
