Handsome Max relaxes in a pool in Kakato by April Fong Habitat, shared with brother Stripes – our largest tiger territory with two pools and a lake. With the arrival of spring and warmer weather, Max, Stripes and our other rescued tigers will be dipping in their pools more often.

ADI rescued the brothers at just six months old from a circus in Guatemala, along with the rest of their family. Max is looking and feeling much better following his bout of feline allergic bronchitis and asthma. He’s enjoying his 5+ acres of natural, wild space and its sights and sounds, including the rescued donkeys who freely roam ADIWS, and his newest neighbor, lion Ruben!
