Sisters Sun, Moon, Luna and Jade demolish their hay bales at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa. The joy and sense of fun these tigers show was simply never seen when they lived in constant fear in tiny, bare cages in a circus in Guatemala.
The four girls made it to the sanctuary earlier this year, along with the rest of their family and five lions. We got them home just before the world locked down.
The 12 tigers enjoy a huge 650,000sqft territory with seven spring-fed pools to play and cool off, as well as raised platforms with dens, and night-houses.
One of their much-loved games is to tear down the hay bale insulation around the dens, and now we try to keep one step ahead – much to their enjoyment!
SAVE THE DATE: On #GivingTuesday, December 1, help our tiger sisters continue to live their best lives by donating a Ticket To Thrive for $10/£8 to cover the cost of caring for any of them or our other big cats for one day.
Awesome ADI. Thank you for your dedication and love towards all of the animals in your care. Great job💌🏆
