Sanctuary team fights fire, and appeal for vehicles

This weekend, I hope you will help me raise enough to purchase the first two electric off-road vehicles for the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary. Thanks to our first appeal we are closer to the target, and great news is that one of our Sanctuary Founders has offered a $3,500 / £2,600 match fund. This means that donations this weekend will be doubled, and we can purchase our first two Blitz Cruisers!

Running wild

There’s nothing quite like seeing animals that have been confined and abused expressing their lust for life after a rescue. These four horses were found hobbled in a South African township street, now they roam free on the 455-acre ADI Wildlife Sanctuary site. Enjoy this phone clip taken walking the dogs a few days ago. Horse rescue!

Meet the newest arrivals to the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary, South Africa. When the SPCA found three horses hobbled and in poor condition in a street in a South African township, they asked if ADI would help. Of course we, said “yes” and started work on a paddock to receive the animals, which will eventually be free-ranging on the 455 acre sanctuary. Meanwhile another horse, called Sammy, was rescued and was forming a bond with the family of horses. Watch and see what happened next….
