The baby owls move into the aviary at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary and START LEARNING TO FLY. 

After being seized from the illegal wildlife pet trade, by Israel’s Nature & Parks Authority (NPA) over a year ago, BenTzur and Ori have been growing up waiting for a new life. Now they are on the brink of a new life in Africa at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary.

Kimba has been admitted to hospital today for an assessment by Dr Caldwell and possible surgery on his right eye.

The owls are growing fast and Brent and the team are preparing an aviary in the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary’s Non Predator Reception Area ready for the next phase of their rehabilitation.

Little does he know, but after a long, long wait, little lion Ori’s life is about to change dramatically.

Incredible news – this week ADI has secured a flight out of Israel for 18-month old lions BenTzur (pictured) and Ori who have been stranded due to the war in the middle east.

It’s three and a half weeks since the baby owls arrived at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary and just look how they have transformed.

On this day eleven years ago white lioness Lei-ah was born at a South African lion breeder. We hope that she is having a wonderful birthday roaming her habitat at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary
