After a few days for Coco to recover in the Kornberg Habitat feeding camp after his stay in hospital, Chino and Coco are now back together in their main habitat.
Enjoying the freshness in the air as we move towards the close of rainy season at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary and after some good play wrestling, the boys looked around the habitat and settled down for a good snooze as the African sun set for the day.
Dr Peter Caldwell reports that the lump removed from Coco’s leg was the result of a minor injury and not a concern, and we await the results relating to his chest x-ray.
Coco and Chino were rescued together in August 2014 from a circus in Peru as ADI helped enforce the country’s ban on wild animal acts, they have rarely been apart.
