It can be tough, dirty work at the Sanctuary, preparing food, giving meds, cleaning animal houses and habitats, cutting grass, planting trees, and more.

Work continues whatever the weather and in Africa that can mean torrential rain and serious heat, so our team needs practical clothing. We are therefore incredibly grateful for South Africa’s Jonsson Workwear who have donated new uniforms for the ADIWS team especially, much needed wet and cold weather clothing ­– winter is just two months away in the southern hemisphere and the warm tops will be especially appreciated. It felt like Christmas came early when the boxes of clothing arrived! The boxes the new clothes came in didn’t go to waste either – they were all turned into toys for the lions and tigers.
