This time last year, ADI issued a picture (left) of a very young Saif to ADI supporters, with the message “Your donation today could change his world…” Well, YOU DID IT, and that little lion is growing fast at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary.

Saif had been dumped in the desert to die – an unwanted ‘trophy’ pet – but had been rescued and was waiting in Kuwait Zoo for a new life. In May this year, Saif, along with five other lions rescued from the illegal ‘trophy’ pet trade, Dhubiya, Shujaa, Saham, Muheeb, and Aziza arrived at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary – all six have their entire lives ahead of them and could be in our care for another 20 or more years. THANK YOU to everyone who helped bring Saif and the others home – you really did change his world.
