For the first time, the Kuwait 6 lions – Dhubiya, Saif, Aziza, Muheeb, Shujaa and Saham – stepped out onto African soil for the first time. (Watch back the Facebook lives here).

Rescued from the illegal wildlife trade in Kuwait, the six young lions arrived at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary yesterday.
For their first two weeks, the lions will be in quarantine, their space the feeding camp of their habitat. This will not be their permanent space.
The lions will soon have an additional 2.5 acres of space and after that several more acres.
This is just the start of a wonderful new life.
Thank you to everyone around the world who has been rooting for these lions. They are now home.
