Our sanctuary lovebirds, Tarzan and Tanya, are often seen showing their affection – from nuzzling to kissing each other. Here they cuddle together while napping in their Augie Habitat at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary. They have been together for at least 12 years, and their love got them through years of hell in a circus in Guatemala.

Those who have watched our Facebook lives would have seen Tanya the protector always lying or standing in between the humans filming and her beloved Tarzan – always ready to defend him.
